Peter & Melanie. . .
With only four weeks notice, Julie was asked to produce a wedding for Mel and Peter in Kardamyli. Now this may sound relatively easy for an expert, but there was one significant hurdle to overcome; the bride-to-be has dual nationality of both Australia and Canada and was wishing to marry an Englishman in Greece! Problem? The paperwork! The paperwork could have been the undoing of the wedding, but Julie's expertise and experience overcame all the obstacles that they would not have even known were there. With Julie's help, the process proved to be seamless and it all came together to make for a perfect day.
Bear in mind that all this happened in less than four weeks, and all by Email! The first time that Mel and Peter met face to face with Julie was just five days before the wedding day. Mel and Peter followed her advice to the letter and when they registered at the Kardamili Town Hall everything was in order and the wedding ceremony was confirmed.
Family and guests came from Australia, Canada, England and Greece and shared an extraordinary day; from hotel bookings to taxis, from dining arrangements to place settings and dietary requirements to photos, nothing was too much trouble. To top it all, at both the Reception and the Evening Meal all the place settings were colour-coordinated to match the Bride and Groom's wedding invitation!
As the Father of the Groom, I observed a professional at work making everything happen; quite amazing! The attention to detail was quite remarkable. The whole experience was quite unexpectedly free of stress.
